Years ago, I wore capri pants all the time in the summer. I didn’t like shorts, so when I wasn’t wearing my summer dresses, it was capris. I then decided that they were a bit frumpy, so I stopped wearing them, and added a few pairs of shorts into my wardrobe.

Now, cropped pants are everywhere again, and I’ve been open to buying the right pair.

When I saw these Kut from the Kloth distressed cropped jeans in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, I decided to try them. I love them! The slim silhouette and large cuff set them apart.

I wore this outfit out to dinner with the family and some friends. My top is the last of my D.NOLO purchases from a few weeks ago. I had never heard of the designer, Pam & Gela, but loved the details on this piece. Between the sheer edges and back, bottom zipper and sweatshirt-like material, I was sold.

My shoes are also from the Nordstrom sale, the Halogen pointy toe flat in pale pink. They had just arrived in the mail that afternoon, and I wore them right away! They are really comfortable and the neutral color will be so versatile.

I “won” my necklace at the silent auction at the Starkey Gala. I don’t know much about it. It was billed as an “Italian Designer” stainless steel wire necklace. I was drawn to the modern-edginess of it. There is no clasp. The two curved metal pieces in the front are magnetic, and that’s how it closes. So fun!
